I am currently setting up a research project with Wythenshawe hospital into the efficacy of massage treatment on the renal and hepatic systems in post-transplant outpatients.

Seeing myself as a case in point we would be interested in seeing if we could demonstrate a statistically significant improvement in these outpatients' renal and hepatic functions, which are already regularly tested as part of post-transplant care. I feel the improvement in their quality of life could be significant and there is a possibility it could save the trust money on the cost of medication if that were to reduce.

This is at a very early stage and there are lots of considerations and paperwork to be done before a study like this could commence, but watch this space!
